Notifications

This section deals with email templates related to activities in the Database App. E.g. Adding, updating, deleting, record assignment, etc.

You can go to Notifications for a Database App by following the steps as below
  1. Select a Site
  2. Click App Name on site menu
  3. Click “App – Settings” from “More…” drop down menu located on top right corner of page
  4. Click “Notifications Settings” link in left hand menu

Email triggers for following events are available for each Database App
  1. Application Created
  2. Add Record
  3. Update Record
  4. Delete Record
  5. Add Comment
  6. Add Attachment
  7. Complete To-Do
  8. Record Access
  9. Record Invitation
  10. Record Reminder

Editing a Email Template

  1. Select a Site
  2. Click App Name on site menu
  3. Click “App – Settings” from “More…” drop down menu located on top right corner of page
  4. Click “Notification Settings” link in left hand menu
  5. Click “Edit” link next to the email template you want to modify
  6. Change all necessary details
  7. Click “Save” button

Delete a Email Template

  1. Select a Site
  2. Click App Name on site menu
  3. Click “App – Settings” from “More…” drop down menu located on top right corner of page
  4. Click “Notification Settings” link in left hand menu
  5. Click icon in the Delete column
  6. Click “Confirm” in the confirmation box to remove the email template

Turning a Email Notification as On/Off

  1. Select a Site
  2. Click App Name on site menu
  3. Click “App – Settings” from “More…” drop down menu located on top right corner of page
  4. Click “Notification Settings” link in left hand menu
  5. Click “Edit” link next to the email template you want to modify
  6. Change the Status to On/Off to turn email notification as active/inactive respectively
  7. Click “Save” button
